Job Description: SEN Teaching Assistant
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to join our wonderful SEN schools. As a SEN Teaching Assistant you will be working closely with the children to provide social, emotional, and physical support.
Hours: 8:00am till 16:00pm - Monday to Friday - Shifts may vary
Salary: £80 - £100 Per Day - Depending on Experience
Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and educational activities
- Provide one-on-one support to students with special needs, including those with autism, ADHD or other learning disabilities
- Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
- Collaborate with teachers to create and maintain an organized classroom setting
- Support students during classroom activities, ensuring their engagement and participation
- Help students with daily tasks such as eating, dressing, and personal hygiene
- Monitor student behaviour and intervene when necessary to maintain a positive learning environment
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to provide updates on student progress
Compliance required:
- Proof of Address x 2 (Driving License, retracted Bank Statement, Utility Bill – dated within the last 3 months)
- Proof of National Insurance (Pay Slip, Letter)
- Your RTW (Passport, Share Code, BRP)
- Safeguarding Children Training Level 1 or 2
- A copy of your DBS (Please note: DBS must be both Adult and Childs checked, if one is missing we will need to apply for a new one for you)
- Referee details x2 (Please note: We must be given Emails in order to contact your referees)
- An Oversees Police Check (if you have lived outside of the UK for longer than 6 consecutive months in the last 10 years)

- Experience working with children, particularly in a school or childcare setting
- Ability to effectively educate and engage students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
- Familiarity with special education practices and strategies is preferred
